Aug 24, 2016. #1. Not a fan at all of IE, and it seems to have stopped working with live view on the hikvision NVR. Google chrome won't allow the webconnects plug in to run (is there a real HTML 5 version that works maybe) and don't really want to install a 3rd browser and open up another hack vector if I can help it.
Live view shows you the live video getting from cameras. Perform the following task to start and stop live view. Enter the Live View page to start live view. On the device list page, if the device list is displayed in thumbnail mode, tap the device thumbnail to enter the Live View page.
Log direclty into the recorder. Locate the "Platfor Access" section. (It may also be call Hik connect or even be in the DDNS section on some older model DVR's). Then disable the "Enable Stream Encryption" option and click "Apply". Refresh the camera on the browser, you should then see the live view of the camera.
I just bought Hikvision DS-7616NI-SE/P and a few 2cd2032 cams. They all working great. However, I have following issue. The remote monitoring via web or iVMS client does not work from my office network. Here are what I got. It working fine with my local network, on my 3G and my parent home internet. Which means all ports forwarding are correct.
#1. Just upgraded to Windows 11. Now when I go to the Hikvision web interface for my NVR, I get no video fees from my NVR. It doesn't work in IE, Edge, or Chrome. I've cleared cache in all three browsers with no success. Perhaps your Hikvision camera shows the " live view failed " message because it's using an old firmware that still depends on the NPAPI technology. If that's the case, update the camera's firmware to the latest version that doesn't depend on the NPAPI anymore to work with live video.

lenses. Frame: 25 FPS. In "LIVE VIEW" all images in multiscreen show the lower menu bar, i.e the sub stream works but he missing. camera is not visible in multiscreen. The only location where I dan see the missing camera is in "CAMERA". There I can see all 7 images and all have the lower menu bar, including the one not.

Hikvision NVR DS-7608NI-I2-8P with 8 Hikvision cams You can change that in the settings from your working monitor. The live view stays on my HDMI port so not a problem. The reason I keep the outputs separate is I have no way of controlling the system from the HDMI TV in my lounge. The TV is situated 25 feet away on a different floor and

Once I did that my playback stream in Hik-Connect plays back as a "local device" (streaming directly from my NVR to the web, not through Hik servers). Alerts still come through Hik servers. Blow by blow: Edit: To use Hik-Connect you have to enable "platform access" in the NVR. This effectively enables DDNS through Hik servers, so steps 1) and 2 Uw2b.
